  1. The files in this drawer are example files that you can easily modify to suit
  2. your needs. Double click on the icons to start them or drag-and-drop the
  3. icons over an open db project.

  6. Addresses:
  7. This is an example of an "addressbook" which also records telephone numbers,
  8. email numbers and a long comment line. It is designed with the US mail-
  9. label layout in mind and has the following views:
  10.  
  11. * Mainview      -All fields visible.
  12. * Addresslabel  -Only the address fields visible. Use this when exporting
  13.                  labels
  14. * Phonelist     -This view can be used with the "Export view" menu to make a
  15.                  phonelist suitable to carry around in the wallet.

  18. Återförsäljare:
  19. This file is similar to the Addresses file, but for Swedish users.
  20.  
  21.  
  22. Labels PS:
  23. This is a "label template" for PageStream.
  24. The labels are 7 x 3.6 cm and occurs 3 x 8 across an A4 page.
  25. The template is designed to suit an ASCII import from a View Export of an
  26. Addresslabel view in the Addresses and Återförsäljare databases.

  29. ARexxDemos/MultiMedia:
  30. This demo shows how db can be made to handle pictures, long texts and sounds
  31. using a simple ARexx script. It uses the RXFILE identifier in it's file.
  32. It needs ARexx and Multiview to run.

  35. ARexxDemos/MagicFields:
  36. This demo shows how the AUTORXFILE RFF identifier can be used to 
  37. automatically call ARexx scripts to perform a number of interesting tasks.
  38. It needs ARexx to run.

  41. Books:
  42. This file contains book information and is in plain ASCII.
  43. It demonstrates ASCII import. The file comes from Alan Wigginton's
  44. QuickFile program.

  47. Music:
  48. This file contains information about songs a diskjockey might need.
  49. It comes from an Excel-file made by Mathew Johansson, Sweden. Thanks Mathew!

  52. Windsurfing:
  53. This file contains information about funboards for 1994.
  54. The database comes from a PC based database program and is made by
  55. Richard Starkenberg. Many thanks Richard!
